Twilight Swing

Bin gestern abend todmüde aber glücklich wieder zu Hause gelandet und stehe vor einem Riesenberg:

• 783 Mails in der Box, davon 103, die ich bearbeiten muss
• knapp 2000 neue Beiträge in der Ravelry-Gruppe
• 23 Ravelry PMs
• 2 Speicherkarten voll mit unbearbeiteten Fotos
• 2 Koffer mit einer Mischung aus Wäsche, Büchern, Wolle :)
• und meine Weihnachtsdeko hängt hier auch noch rum :) ....

Fotos aus New York gibt es dann frühestens morgen, aber jetzt darf ich euch die Fotos von meinem Design endlich zeigen! Das ist er, der Twilight Swing!
Übrigens, morgens um 3:20 am 13. hatte ich den neu gestrickten Twilight Swing dann endlich fertig, um 05:30 ging mein Taxi zum Bahnhof, mit der S-Bahn nach Düsseldorf zum Flughafen.
Und am 14. ist mein erster Twilight dann doch noch in New York angekommen, nachdem wir bei der deutschen und der amerikanischen Post Nachforschungsaufträge laufen hatten!
Die Nr. 2 bleibt bei Claudia Pacheco von Zealana Deutschland (www..lanamania.com) und wird sicherlich auf der h+h in Köln live zu sehen sein.
Und ich bekomme dafür die Wolle und strick ihn dann nochmal in XL - den Twilight Swing will ich nämlich auch für mich selbst haben!
Und hier auch nochmal DANKE an Ines Wollgewusel fürs Modeln! Und an Nada für's Nachbearbeiten der Fotos!

Yesterday evening I came home - dead tired but happy. And now I am looking at a gigantic mountain of work to do:

• 783 e-mails in my inbox, 103 of them I have to answer
• nearly 2000 new comments in our Ravelry group
• 23 Ravelry PMs
• 2 memory cards with lots of photos to sort and edit
• 2 suitcases with a mixture of garments, wool and books :)
• and my Christmas decorations still hang everywhere :) ....

My photos of Vogue Knitting Live you'll get tomorrow or later. But today I'm finally allowed to show you my design, the Twilight Swing. Here it is!
By the way, at 3:20 a.m. on Jan 13th I finished my second knit of this design, at 05:30 a.m. my taxi to the station left, going by train to Dusseldorf Airport.
On Jan 14th the first Twilight Swing finally arrived in New York! After we had started Registered Mail Inquiries both with the German and the US postal services .....
No2 will stay with Claudia Pacheco, the German distributor of Zealana yarns (www.lanamania.com). It will be displayed on the h+h Cologne.
I'll get another package of wool, so I can knit it again, this time in XL this design I certainly want to have for myself!
